What status does blinking arrow LED lights give on my NETGEAR WiFi Extender EX6100
LED which stands for Light Emitting Diode on NETGEAR EX6100 extender shows the connection status between wired or wireless router and the devices connected to it. One can also diagnose problems with extender by knowing the LED status. Meaning of Various LED Status are illustrated below:
If the arrow LED of extender is blinking then it means that WiFi signal is weak and you have to place it to more optimal position to enhance its performance.
No Arrow LEDs Are Lit
This shows that EX6100 is at a good location.
Left Arrow Is Blinking
It means you have to place your extender nearer to router, if because of any reason it is not possible then you have to enhance line of sight between the router and the extender.
Right Arrow Is Blinking:
It means you have to place NETGEAR WiFi Range Extender nearer to client i.e wireless computer or devices that are using extender’s WiFi network.
No LEDs lit:
If all of the LEDs are off that means are not blinking then it means that there is no connection.
